Aristos
A fish taverna right on the shore by the little port. Tables on the sand, the day's catch, and the local order everyone repeats: the sea bass (lavraki).
Barbouni
Easy seafood by the water at Ormos Panagias — a short hop from the villa for a relaxed lunch after a morning swim.
Aggelos
On the village square, the closest table to the villa. Come after 7pm for charcoal-grilled lamb and barbecue with the locals.
Melia
A more polished dinner near Karydi beach — refined plates and a setting to match, when you want to dress the evening up a little.
Gorgona
A long-running beachfront classic with a wide spread of traditional dishes and a great variety of seafood, feet almost in the sand.
Panos Fish Tavern
Family-run since 1979 and beloved for it — generous seafood at honest prices. Worth the short detour off the centre.
Ta Kymata
An institution on the Neos Marmaras harbour since 1950, with tables set almost on the water. Order seafood and watch the boats.
Taverna Paradeisos
An old-school Greek taverna with soul and sunset views — the kind of place regulars return to every night of the holiday.
Arsanas
On the Nikiti promenade, a more modern menu than the tavernas and a fine sunset. Open roughly May–October.
Porto Marina
Fresh seafood at the deep natural harbour of Porto Koufo — orzo with prawns, mussels — paired with one of the loveliest settings on the coast.
