We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
- Enquiry and booking details you submit through our forms — your name, email, phone (if given), preferred dates and group size, and any message.
- Technical data automatically logged by our hosting provider for security and performance (such as IP address and browser type).
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a possible stay or retreat — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To operate and secure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest.
- We do not use your details for marketing without your consent.
Who processes your data
We use trusted providers who act on our instructions: Netlify (website hosting and form handling) and our email provider (mailbox hosting). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the provider's standard contractual clauses. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to deliver the font files.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. To exercise any right, email hello@akravista.com. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA).
